| 94:22 If it's impossible to rent from him the place, one of the Jews should ask from him that he should lend him a space in his place specially for him to leave there some article. He leaves there the article, and by this the Jew acquires the place, and even if the article was taken from there before Shabbat, in any event, since the Jew had permission to leave there his article also on Shabbat, it's considered as if he has there part of the appartment. This Jew can rent out the space to all the residents of the courtyard. | אם אי אפשר לשכור ממנו את הרשות יבקש ממנו אחד מן הישראלים שישאיל לו מקום ברשותו המיוחד לו להניח שם איזה חפץ ויניח שם את החפץ ובזה קונה הישראל את המקום ואפילו לקח את החפץ משם קודם שבת מכל מקום כיון שהיה להישראל רשות להניח שם חפצו גם בשבת נחשב כאילו יש לו שם חלק בדירה ויכול הישראל הזה להשכיר את הרשות לכל בני החצר |

94:23 A Jewish apostate1 or one who profanes Shabbat in public (some
(authorities) say that even only (if breaking) Rabbinic prohibitions) is
considered as a Gentile and one needs to rent from him (his) place.
1) One who has converted to another religion. | ישראל מומר או שהוא מחלל שבת בפרהסיא יש אומרים אפילו רק באיסור דרבנן הרי הוא כאינו יהודי וצריכין לשכור ממנו רשות |
