| 199:11 One doesn't move the deceased from a city that has a cemetery to another city, since this is disrespectful to carry him from place to place, unless it's from any country to the land of Israel, or one moves him to the place where his ancestors are buried. Similarly, if he (left) a will that he should be moved from one place to another, it's allowed. | אין מוליכין את המת מעיר שיש בה קברות לעיר אחרת משום דהוי ליה בזיון לטלטלו ממקום למקום אלא מחוץ לארץ לארץ ישראל או שמוליכין אותו למקום קברות אבותיו וכן אם הוא צוה להוליכו ממקום למקום מותר |
| 199:12 It's forbidden to open the grave after it has been closed, that is, after the earth has already been put on the lid of the coffin. However, while one hasn't placed the earth, it's permitted to open it for a reason. If there is an urgent reason that one needs to remove the deceased from his grave, one should ask a Torah sage. | אסר לפתוח הקבר לאחר שנסתם הגולל דהיינו שכבר נתנו עפר על כיסוי הארון אבל כל זמן שלא נתנו עפר מותר לפתחו משום איזה דבר ואם מחמת איזה דבר צריכין לפנות את המת מקברו יעשו שאלת חכם |
| 199:13 If one dug a grave it shouldn't be left open over night for this is dangerous. If there isn't any one available to bury the deceased until the next day, they should fill in the grave with earth. | אם חפרו קבר לא יניחוהו פתוח בלילה כי יש סכנה בדבר ואם אין פנאי לקבור את המת עד למחר ימלאו את הקבר בעפר |
