157:4 One who remarries his divorced wife, she needs to count seven (days) clean. Even if he divorced her when she was pregnant and remarries her when she is pregnant, or divorced her when she was nursing and remarries her when she is nursing.1 If they didn't wait but got married before,2 they are allowed to be alone, since he has already had relations with her, her urges will not be too strong.

1) A pregnant or nursing woman doesn't have menses and can be assumed to be clean under normal circumstances. 2) Before she had counted seven clean days and had the ritual immersion.

157:5 One should be very careful that the bridegroom doesn't sleep with the bride until the night when he wants to have relations.
157:6 One who marries a maiden and has the first relations (which are a) mitzvah, and although there is an issue of blood during relations he should finish the act and not be concerned, but after he has finished she should separate himself from her and she is (now) unclean. Even if he didn't see any blood, we are concerned that perhaps a drop of blood came out and was covered by the semen, therefore we consider her to be (menstrually) unclean definitely.
