152:17 Rav Barona said in the name of Rav any one who sleeps in a room1
(room) that a man and his wife are resting in it, about him it is
written:2 ''the women of my people you cast out from their pleasant
houses'' (for they are embarrassed by him) Rav Yosef said: even by his
menstrually unclean wife.

אָמַר רַב בְּרוּנָא אָמַר רַב, כָּל הַיָשֵׁן בְקִלְעָא (בְּחֶדֶר) שֶׁאִיש וְאִשְׁתּוֹ שְׁרוּיִין בָּהּ, עָלָיו הַכָּתוּב אוֹמֵר, נְשֵׁי עַמִּי תְּגָרְשׁוּן מִבֵּית תַּעֲנֻגֶיהָ (שֶׁבּוֹשׁין הֵן מִמֶּנוּ). וְאָמַר רַב יוֹסֵף, אֲפִלּוּ בְאִשְׁתּוֹ נִדָּה. |
153:1 Any woman who has coming1 from her womb2 a drop of blood even the
smallest quantity, is obligated,3 whatever way it will be, whether by
the normal way of women to see (the blood) at the normal time, or not at
it's time. Even if there had happened some accident, which caused blood
to issue from her womb, she is (considered) as menstrually unclean,4
until she has counted seven (days) without bleeding,5 and immerses in
the proper way.6 Any one who has relations with her, in her uncleaness,
is liable to (the punishment of) ''keret''7 and also she is liable to ''keret''.
One who touches her affectionally is liable to stripes.8

Unclean due to blood from the womb during her period. 5) Termed ''clean'' days. 6) In a ritual immersion pool or ''mikvah''. 7) Excommunication. 8) ''Malkot'' - a whipping with a strip of calfskin, two on the back and one on the front up to a maximum of 39. | כָּל אִשָּׁה שֶנֶּעֶקְרָה מִּמְּקוֹרָהּ טִפַּת דָּם, אֲפִלּוּ כָּל שֶׁהִיא, יִהְיֶה בְאֵיזֶה אֹפֶן שֶׁיִהְיֶה, בֵּין בְּטִבְעָהּ, כְּדֶרֶךְ הַנָּשִׁים לִרְאוֹת בִּזְמַנִּים יְדוּעִים, אוֹ שֶׁלֹּא בִזְמַנָּה וַאֲפִלּוּ אֵרַע לָהּ אֵיזֶה אֹנֶס, אֲשֶׁר מֵחֲמַת זֶה יָצָא מִמְּקוֹרָהּ דָּם, הֲרֵי הִיא טְמֵאָה נִדָּה, עַד שֶׁתִּסְפֹּר שִׁבְעָה נְקִיִים וְתִטְבֹּל כָּרָאוּי. וְכָל הַבָּא עָלֶיהָ בְּטֻמְאָתָהּ, חַיַב כָּרֵת, וְכֵן הִיא חַיֶבֶת כָּרֵת. וְעַל הַנְּגִיעָה דֶּרֶךְ חִבָּה, חַיָבִים מַלְקוּת. ב |
153:2 Even if she didn't feel the blood issuing from her womb, rather she found a blood stain on her flesh or on her underwear, or on her bedding, or any other place, and she can't attribute it to any other cause, except that it came from her womb, then she is unclean. Any woman who found some stain, even if it's not exactly red, rather it's not exactly white, needs to consult a Torah sage, for on this there are many diverse laws on the matter of the size of the stain. Also on the matter of the causes to which it may be attributed, and from where it couldn't have come. It also depends on what time she found it, if it was on a day when she's (normally) clean, or the first days of (her count of) seven clean days. | אֲפִלּוּ לֹא הִרְגִּשָׁה שֶׁיָצָא דָם מִמְּקוֹרָהּ, אֶלָּא שֶׁמָּצְאָה כֶּתֶם דָּם בִּבְשָׂרָהּ, אוֹ בַּחֲלוּקָהּ אוֹ בִּסְדִינָהּ אוֹ בִּשְׁאָר מָקוֹם, וְאֵין לָהּ לִתְלוֹת שֶׁבָּא מִמָּקוֹם אַחֵר, אֶלָּא שֶׁבָּא מִמְּקוֹרָהּ, הֲרֵי הִיא טְמֵאָה. וְכָל אִשָּׁה שֶׁמָּצְאָה אֵיזֶה כֶּתֶם, אֲפִלּוּ אֵינוֹ אָדֹם מַמָּשׁ, אֶלָּא שֶׁאֵינוֹ לָבָן מַמָּשׁ, צְרִיכָה לַעֲשׂוֹת שְׁאֵלַת חָכָם, כִּי יֵשׁ בָּזֶה הַרְבֵּה חִלּוּקֵי דִינִים בְּעִנְיַן גַּדְלוּת וְקַטְנוּת הַכֶּתֶם, וְגַם בְּעִנְיַן הַתְּלִיָה, בַּמֶּה יְכוֹלִין לִתְלוֹתוֹ וּבַמָּה אֵין יְכוֹלִין לִתְלוֹתוֹ, וְגַם יֵשׁ חִלּוּק בְּאֵיזֶה זְמַן שֶמָּצְאָה אוֹתוֹ, אִם בְּיָמִים שֶׁהִיא טְהוֹרָה אוֹ בַּיָמִים הָרִאשׁוֹנִים מִשִּבְעָה נְקִיִּים. ג |
